Bears, lions, monkeys and other wild animals continue to endure life within a system that normalizes their exploitation. Marineland was unfortunately just one of many.
For decades, weak regulations and little oversight have allowed these facilities to operate unchecked. With no consistent licensing or enforcement, substandard operations continue to put animals at risk.
