You can help end nonstop suffering
Sign this petition right now to tell the Federal government to end the cruel practice of wildlife entertainment in Canada by passing the Jane Goodall Bill (Bill S-241).
Across the country, thousands of wild animals are trapped in cages for profit. They have been captured or bred, and subjected to nonstop suffering just to entertain tourists by performing tricks, being used as props for photos or other inhumane practices. Every single day. Nonstop. Until now.
These wild animals deserve the Jane Goodall Act. This Act will ban the use of wild animals like elephants, great apes and tigers for entertainment and commercial trade. It will also create stronger animal welfare regulations to protect more than 800 wild animal species.
When you sign this petition today, you are showing the government that there is significant support and evidence for passing this bill without delay.
Canada continues to import hundreds of thousands of wild animals every year.
These animals deserve your support. Let’s end the nonstop suffering now.
No more pain for profit. End wildlife entertainment in Canada for good.
Tell the Federal government to pass the Jane Goodall Act and end the inhumane practice of wildlife entertainment in Canada.
