The Fundy North Fishermen's Association works with local fishers to remove ghost gear

The Fundy North Fishermen's Association (FNFA) in St. Andrews, New Brunswick, has been working with local fishers to remove ghost gear, and along with with local industries, develop prevention strategies to minimize gear loss.

Now, the FNFA has joined the Global Ghost Gear Initiative and their work will serve as a great best practice example to others around the world.
