Urgent appeal: Animals and their habitats are burning in Brazil
You can stop senseless loss of wildlife
Brazil’s wildlife are suffering and dying because of fires deliberately set for the factory farming industry so they can grow more crops to feed livestock. As fires devastate pristine habitats in Cerrado and Pantanal, iconic species like the jaguar, hyacinth macaw, giant otter, and giant anteater are seriously threatened.
The fires have affected millions of animals. Many have died and surviving animals will face significant loss of habitat and suffer terrible hardships.
Over the past few days, one captive orca has died and another was attacked by a tank-mate at SeaWorld San Diego.
